Found a puddle in my path
Coulda set me off the track
Thought about dodgin’ it but I said “Hey…
It’s just a few rain drops dropping on my head on a rainy day
As I stepped in a puddle trying to make my way
Just the rain drops falling on my head, and soon I’ll make my way home
to the T-V and some tea and my nice warm bed

Found myself walking through door - finally home
After gettin’ caught in the rain
Muddy shoes - soggy socks
On the floors - start to slop
Thought about making a Pot of tea
But the world outside is still puddle-ing
So I peeled off my socks and my shoes - just to feel the water between my toes
Turned around & went back outside to watch the rain drops
Fillin’ up the puddles and fallin’ on my runny nose
